Meet Belmont!
Belmont is about 2 years young and ready to play! We found Belmont living in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia. His local fan club of people and dogs informed us that he has been living on his own since he was just a puppy. When he was younger his owner tied him to a baseball field fence and left him. Through the efforts of many volunteers we were able to bring him into rescue and introduce him to living in a home with a family.
Sadly, he has been in a foster home since early December 2006. He has quickly adapted to life with a family and a home. He is housetrained, crate trained and knows basic commands. He gets along well with other dogs of the same size or larger. Because we are unaware of his life prior to his rescue, we do not feel comfortable placing him in a home with children, cats or other small animals.
Belmont has found his forever home...
